job detailsjob summary:Project Engineer - Lab Development needed for an immediate long term project needed in the Canton, MA area!The right person will have a passion in project engineering, within construction and "lab type" equipment management background. Our client is looking for a sharp engineer with a biotech background who has a full understanding of a GMP and a clean room atmosphere.You don't need a ton of experience! Just a few years, along with the passion and the drive to grow with an awesome organization!Some of the tasks you will be performing will be loading data in the CMMS, assisting with managing asset requests, coordination of HEPA and room certifications to ensure proper compliance as well as working in harmony with cross functional teams resolving any issues and completing equipment related punch lists.This person must possess awesome team and communication skills with a drive for success! Assist in managing construction impairment requests, evaluate their impact, and review execution plans to ensure minimal disruption to operations.

Work with area owners to schedule invasive construction and impairment work that may affect daily operations.

Develop small scope execution plans outlining business impact, duration, and obtain necessary approvals.

Coordinate and communicate any changes to execution plans as required.

Assist in supervising and coordinating impairment work in the field to ensure it is executed according to plan and with minimal disruption.

Create site-wide notifications to inform staff of ongoing project impacts.

Assist in managing asset requests (AREQs and CREQs) and coordinate the induction of new assets into the project.

Assist in overseeing equipment procurement, storage, receipt, and shipping/receiving coordination.

Assist in managing equipment installation, including utility and data connections.

Assist in coordinating HEPA and room certifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.

Schedule and coordinate project calibration requests (WREQs) to ensure equipment is ready for use.

Assist in managing and maintaining the Equipment Readiness Tracker/Schedule for pre-CQV activities.

Assist in managing and resolving equipment-related punch lists to ensure all issues are addressed promptly.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Bio, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering is highly preferred

0-5 years of experience project engineering, with a focus on new lab construction and equipment management.

Knowledge of a GPM and clean room environment

Exceptional communication with the ability to work in cross functional teams

Possess a natural engineering curiosity and the desire to become better every day

Excellent computer skills; MS Office, CMMS
