If you are an engaging, open-minded, and enthusiastic individual, then this is the position for you!”Summary: Join our innovative and passionate team to inspire students.  Use innovative technology such as virtual reality and other platforms as tools to facilitate and engage students. Teach small groups in schools and community settings, helping an array of neurodiverse students ages 14-22 gain pre-employment transitional skills to better prepare them for the job world or post-secondary education. Main responsibilities of this position entail teaching and engaging students with self-advocacy, job exploration, workplace readiness skills, work-based learning experiences (internships) and post-secondary education. You will work with school personnel, higher education programs and community employers building strong partnerships to support these students with their pursuits. Learn how Virtual reality is being used to make learning fun and engaging in a safe and controlled environment.  "Current and former teachers and para-educators, are strongly encouraged to apply!"  Qualifications:  Minimum of a high school diploma or GED/Hi-Set and 5 years of related experience required; or an Associate's degree with at least 2-3 years of experience required; or Bachelor’s degree preferred.  Knowledge of and respect for diverse populations. Requirements: Ability to travel as far north as Adams, and as far south as Great Barrington to meet program needs. (Mileage reimbursement eligible.)Ability to use computers to include Microsoft Word, data entry, email, and internet essential. Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record, use of vehicle and willingness to transport participants in personal vehicle. Must be able to travel within the region to access residential settings, employers, offices and community organizations.“Viability values our employees and the talents that they bring with them every day.
