Individual Markets Operations Senior Consultant

As an Operations Senior Consultant you will support system administrative access and troubleshooting functions for Individual Markets New Business and InForce operations. Using subject matter expertise, you will participate in the review of business processes to ensure the department is operating within the parameters of industry and regulatory compliance requirements. You will collaborate on or lead cross functional projects and act as business liaison to define detailed requirements, conduct testing and provide status updates to management and project teams. Leverage SME knowledge of business operations to ensure requirements created for initiatives meet the vision, goals, and objectives of IM Operations and of the organization.

Provide support to technology and testing teams to ensure functionality is delivered and used correctly. Assist the creation and review of test plans, test cases, and test results to ensure complete validation.

Ensure post-production verification of functionality to ensure original vision is realized. Work within administrative teams to resolve complex and intensified customer facing issues. Maintain and prioritize inventory of outstanding defects and enhancements.

Collaborate on or lead cross functional projects and act as business liaison to define detailed requirements and provide status updates to management and project teams.

Monitor overall customer service experience to proactively identify gaps and recommend improvements.

Leverage the IM shared service team to create and execute production delivery and communication plans to ensure operational readiness. Partner with shared services to develop, publish and maintain procedures to ensure proper usage of delivered functionality.

Proactive monitoring of productivity and quality trends, partnering with Learning & Development as needed to address training opportunities.

Apply problem solving and make critical decisions regarding functionality and priority across operations and project teams with a focus on delivering value.

Define, create, maintain, and use reporting and analytics to quantify initiative benefits and drive future improvements with an emphasis on service excellence and efficiency.

You have

BA/BS degree preferred, but not required.

Experience with life, disability, systems, and data preferred.

Exceptional problem-solving skills with demonstrated success.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Highly proficient in managing multiple priorities.

Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Word and creating Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.

Superior organizational skills with attention to detail across a variety of tasks

Ability to collaborate with both internal and external resources.

Salary Range$56,680.00 - $85,015.00The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
