Senior Principal Product Manager

About the jobRed Hat Core Business Platforms is looking for a Senior Principal Product Management to join our team in the United States. In this role, you will elevate Red Hat’s data-driven culture and execution by defining, delivering, and driving the adoption of internal source-aligned data products that power our enterprise analytics. You will work with IT application and departmental data domain teams to ensure that our data assets are built in a way that benefits all of Red Hat needs, and broadly adopted for reuse, agility, and compliance purposes. You will work close with teams of data architects, data engineers, and the data platform team to fulfill your vision.What you will do

Define the roadmap for our business systems data products that deal with customer orders

Work with business teams to gather requirements and build a strategy that maximizes our impact with data

Identify gaps in resourcing, or key points of friction in business processes, and make recommendations that address those issues

Ensure that data and analytics requirements are being fulfilled as Order-related products proceed through their lifecycle, through migrations and upgrades

Work in conjunction with the Technical Oversight Committee and Governance teams to ensure that source-aligned data products teams (including Orders) have clear indicators of status, quality measures, process maturity, resourcing needs, and roadmaps in place that drive business outcomes

Help define the strategy and execution approach for all internal data needs at Red Hat

What you will bring

Exceptional product management skills and discipline that leads to clarity for the teams doing the work

Experience with delivering large systems to internal customers

Experience with data analytics and data governance practices and processes

Strong opinions and perspectives that you kindly debate, defend, or change to ensure that the entire team moves as one

Deep empathy for your users of your data products, leading to a constant focus on removing friction, increasing adoption, and delivering business results

Prunes and prioritizes work in order to maximize your contributions and impact

Bias for action and leading by example

The following experience is considered a plus

Experience or knowledge of open source or inner source development and processes

Experience or knowledge of data mesh architectural principles

Experience with internal enterprise product management and platform transformation projects

Familiarity with enterprise order to cash processes and ERP systems
