This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one
Responsibilities:
Inspecting machined work pieces and assemblies
Measure first piece, in-process and final inspection
GD&T, standard quality control measuring devices, verniers, micrometers, height gages
Perform visual inspection on welded components
Inspect incoming parts and materials to make sure in conformance
First piece inspection reports, maintain data records for inspection
Reading blueprints or engineering specifications to obtain product information
Measure dimensions such as length, height and distance, between reference points to make sure meeting specifications
Making sure all inspection equipment is calibrated and in good working order
Qualifications:
Previous quality inspector experience
Experience with GD&T
Able to read and understand prints and fabrication drawings
Experience with measuring devices such as verniers, micrometers, height gages
Experience with CMM is a plus
The ability to use a CMM is a plus
Understanding of the NDT process with regard to FPI & X-ray
Experience with quality inspection
Basic computer skills
Hours are:
Monday through Thursday – 5:30am to 4pm
The pay is up to $30.00 an hour based on experience
