Responsibilities:
Welding with the GTAW, GMA processes.
Ability to fit, tack and weld assemblies made of various aluminum material grades (6061, 5083, & 1100) mostly plate and bar stock in accordance with various welding codes and specifications.
Use of grinders and sanders obtain required finish per work instruction or specification.
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints.
Working knowledge of welding symbols.
Position parts in various jigs and fixtures to obtain correct dimensions and orientation.
Safely operate overhead cranes, jib cranes, pallet jacks, fork trucks
Qualifications:
Previous welding experience with aluminum
Previous experience working in a custom metal fabrication shop
Hours:
Mon – Thurs 6:30am – 4:00pm and Fri 6:30-10:30.
The pay is up to $30.00 an hour depending on experience
