At Olympus, we help make people’s lives healthier, safer and more fulfilling, every day.Let’s inspire healthier lives, together.Job DescriptionThe Senior Portfolio Manager works with the Head of Digital Strategy in setting portfolio strategy, managing the digital portfolio, and closely collaborating with the project managers to optimize the outcome of the digital portfolio.The qualified candidate will be responsible to build up and continuously improve the established governance structure under which the Digital Portfolio is managed. This includes facilitation and execution of the digital operating board and the responsibility for tracking, analyzing, and reporting progress across the global DU portfolio to Olympus leadership. As part of this, you will closely collaborate with Digital Unit Leadership, DU Governance Board members, Business Unit and R&D Leaders, and other relevant stakeholders on all portfolio matters across the global organization.The qualified candidate will drive continuous improvements of tools to enable portfolio prioritization, strategic business planning, project activation, project execution and reporting (i.e., communication tools, dashboards, creating and maintaining a global project database, reporting process, central project document repository, KPI tracking mechanisms, portfolio scenario tools, bubble charts, etc.). The candidate will lead development and implementation of consistent methods for project initiation, schedule development & tracking, financial management, risk management, project reviews, escalation processes, and business case development.Job DutiesLead change management efforts to develop a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and bias for action to aid in the execution and delivery of projects, including further improvements to Portfolio Management tools.

Partner with functional leadership globally to ensure appropriate resource planning, execution, visibility and tracking of projects.

Represent the DU Portfolio team in Divisional and Business Unit communication meetings for the areas of responsibility defined above.

Stay current on industry best-practices in the areas of Portfolio and Project Management.

Closely partner with the Global Project Management, Regional Project Management, and Strategy and Portfolio Management organizations within Olympus.

Collaborate directly with the Head of Digital Strategy to make sure that all parties are on track with project delivery focusing on quality, cost, delivery.

Build up portfolio management and prioritization and establish metrics optimized for the digital portfolio.

Manage resources and budget within the limits of the portfolio.

Prepare decision criteria for strategic portfolio decisions in alignment with the Digital Unit (DU) and Customer Solution (CS) targets.

Track project KPIs and collaborate with Project Managers to understand drivers and implications of project KPIs through subsequent changes.

Improve Tools and templates as needed in alignment with the digital governance boards.

Job RequirementsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's or master’s degree or equivalent.

PREFERRE QUALIFICATIONS:PMP Certification or equivalent project management experience is strongly desired.

Minimum of 10 years of experience working in a similar role.

Experience in Medical Device, digital solutions, AI, B2B SaaS, Healthcare / Life Sciences space.

Experience in building up a portfolio management structure.

Experience in formal portfolio management methodologies lean portfolio methodologies.

Experience in working in a matrix organization with great collaboration skills in an international environment.

Excellent analytical and complex problem-solving skills with proven expertise in creating reports and tools to analyze and evaluate data.

Experience in developing presentations and communicating data analysis and results to assist decision-making.

Ability to multitask and balance priorities with minimal direction.

Demonstrates strong organizational and planning skills; strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with ability to work in a team environment.

Advance user with MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
