Approximately 32 hours/week. Excellent position for someone who wants to learn more about commercial brewing.
Will assist the Head Brewer with all duties at the brewery. Specific jobs include:
● Cleaning: CIP procedures for fermenter tanks, brite tanks, kegs, and brewhouse. Basic
cleaning of floors, trenches, and misc. parts using proper chemical handling and safety.
● Brewing: being able to lift 55lb bags of grain to weigh out for brew days, adding grain
into a grist mill, manual mashing-in and out for grain, and pitching yeast.
● Canning: Labeling cans, sanitizing cans, loading cans, troubleshooting, and inspecting product.
● Cellar: QC, reading gravities, checking carbonation levels, filling kegs, delivering kegs to
restaurant, transferring beers, and carbonating beers.
Experience preferred but not required. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
