Thank you for considering this position. We are seeking a live in health care aid for our 90 year young dad. His care includes showering, dressing, toiletry, light meal prep, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, companionship. Our dad is mobile but a little unsteady at times. He has mild dementia and occasionally needs direction. He does not need medical attention just a reminder to take his morning and evening meds. He enjoys afternoon car rides and loves being able to stay in his home. We hope to keep him there with a live in person, while I his daughter covers every other weekend. We are open to how it looks but would like to minimize the number of caregivers with either one or two folks. This live in position is Monday through Friday with weekends free, to start. As Dad's needs change it is possible that every other weekend will become part of the schedule, while I his daughter covers the balance. We have a beautiful home and grounds and are happy to provide you with a large 14' X 16' room. We want our Aid to have a balanced life with time to themselves. Compensation includes living quarters with a weekly salary. Please be certified as a PCA, HHA, or similar skill set. Please have a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle because my dad loves, loves, loves to go for car rides while listening to Classic Rock.
