Immediate need for a Personal Care Assistant to help care for a disabled woman in Northampton area. She lives on her own (in a scent free environment) and needs help to remain independent. Responsibilities include light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, medication management, help with personal care, and companionship. She wakes up early and needs help getting up in the morning. We need help three days a week, including some weekend hours. Once we find the right fit, we'll make the hours work. The important thing is finding the right person and we're willing to be as flexible as we can be. The working environment is pleasant and comfortable, but it's not on a bus route so you need a reliable vehicle.
Preference is for an experienced woman. If you're interested, please respond telling me about yourself and your experience. You must be able to pass a background check. Compensation starts at $22 an hour. If things work out, additional compensation will be available.
