Immediate need for a Personal Care Assistant to help care for a disabled woman in Northampton area. She lives on her own (in a scent free environment) and needs help to remain independent. Responsibilities include light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, medication management, help with personal care, and companionship. She wakes up early and needs help getting up in the morning. We need help from 6 am until 3 pm Saturday and Sunday. The hours may be flexible and there may be additional hours available. The important thing is finding the right person and we're willing to be as flexible as we can be. The working environment is pleasant and comfortable, but it's not on a bus route so you need a reliable vehicle.
Preference is for an experienced woman, but if you have the heart you can learn the job. If you're interested, please respond telling me about yourself and your experience.
