Administrative Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: Northampton, MA

$15-$18 to commensurate with experience

Join our compassionate, mindfulness-based alternative non-profit Mental Health organization. We’re seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the daily front office operations. This vital role includes reception, scheduling, communication, bookkeeping support, and general office upkeep. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, personable, and drawn to supporting mental health services through efficient administrative work.
Key Responsibilities:
Willing to be a welcoming point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff
Ability to learn new systems, collaborative mindset, and responsive communication
Manage phone and email communications
Maintain office supplies, equipment, and the general appearance and functionality of the office
Provide logistical support for meetings and community events (e.g., Zoom links, flyers, room setup)
Assist with bookkeeping tasks, such as organizing incoming/outgoing mail and logging checks
Support the Executive, Fiscal, and Operations teams with administrative tasks
Ability to troubleshoot basic tech issues and coordinate with IT as needed
Maintain accurate and confidential personnel records and assist with clinical record requests
Qualifications:
2-3 years of previous administrative or front office experience preferred
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
Comfortably use Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, Zoom, and email platforms
A team player who is responsive, adaptable, and proactive
