The Williston Northampton School is accepting applications for a Health Services Driver, Monday through Friday 2-5 PM, with some flexibility to work additional hours depending on student need during the academic year.
The Health Services Driver is responsible for the supervision and safe transportation for all students requiring rides to and from medical/dental appointments one way and/or round trip. Other responsibilities include accompanying students to office visits as needed; ensuring the vehicle used is in safe operating condition; assisting injured or disabled students as necessary; informing the Director of Health and Wellness Services of any issues resulting from transportation of students; maintaining the confidentiality of transported students. The qualified individual must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must be responsible, dependable and also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work with students of diverse backgrounds effectively. Must be able to sit, stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to work in secondary boarding school atmosphere by successfully passing CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information), SORI, (Sex Offender Record Information) and fingerprint-based background checks.
