Description We are in search of an Attorney specializing in Customer Contracts, based in Woburn, Massachusetts. This role is in the legal sector and will be responsible for assisting the team with customer contracts. The job offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: Administer and review legal agreements governing customer use of assets. Prepare documents related to customer contracts and resolve issues that may impact a pending customer application. Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to review and provide legal analyses of contracts, terminations, renewals, and responses to customer inquiries and disputes. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of customer agreements and communicate with customers regarding contractual rights and obligations. Coordinate with internal departments to resolve issues with property owners or external customers. Draft new license agreements, amendments, ground lease documents, access and utility agreements, use authorization, and consent agreements in compliance with company standards. Provide legal analyses of property owner transactions, customer requests, project permitting, and the adoption of applicable legislation or regulations. Assist in resolving title curative issues including missing deeds, mortgages, all liens except mechanics, probate issues, improper signature authority, and issues concerning Company entities. Work with external title companies in accordance with internal policy. Requirements Must possess excellent Customer Service skills, with a strong emphasis on Sales and Operations. Compliance with legal and corporate policies, with a focus on Contract Reviews. Strong background in Finance and Regulation, particularly within a business setting. Proven Negotiation abilities, ideally within the Property and Real Estate sectors. Proficient Communication Skills, with the capacity to Resolve Issues swiftly and effectively. Ability to Prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently. Experience in handling Authorizations and dealing with Missing Invoices. Proficient Interpersonal Skills, with the ability to foster strong relationships with both internal and external customers. Knowledge of Agreement structures, Dispute Resolution processes, and Terminations procedures. Familiarity with Entity Formation, and the ability to Draft legal documents. Experience in handling Liens and running Bonus Programs. Law degree and license to practice law in the state. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a corporate environment. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. Willingness to keep up-to-date with the latest changes in laws and regulations. Strong analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
