Quality TechnicianLocation : Woburn, MA, United StatesJob Family : ManufacturingJob Type : RegularPosted : Sep 29, 2022Job ID : 36335Back to Search ResultsJob DescriptionApply Now >Save JobJob SavedPosition Summary:Inspects and tests products and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.Responsibilities:Performs tests as required and record results in laboratory information management systems
Organizes retained samples safely per current EHS requirements
Escalates potential problems to engineering team and participates in root cause analysis
Responsible for documentation accuracy and communicating gaps
Supports First Article Inspections and PPAPs
Participates in internal quality audits
Supports Non-conformed material testing and reporting
Conducts daily documentation and part audits in the lab
Supports customer testing and reporting
Conducting 5S in the lab
Supports equipment calibration
Other duties or projects as required
Qualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED),
Minimum of 3+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a quality capacity
Must have ability to interpret drawings, materials specifications, and test instructions.
Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word
Knowledge of quality standards (ISO, AS, IATF) is preferred
Knowledge of various inspection tools/equipment (Digital Multimeter, Vernier, Hardness Gage, Universal Tensile Machine)
Ability to effectively communicate
Ability to work with others.
Fluent in English
Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident
