SalaryUSD $50,000.00/Yr.Description and ResponsibilitiesThe Staff Development team is responsible for providing training and development opportunities for all employees at Open Sky, across all programs, services, and roles. In collaboration with our service and support departments, the team manages training operations such as scheduling, registration and management, along with developing, delivering, and assessing effectiveness of training. Our team is committed to continuously assess what works, what employees need and design new opportunities to help our employees give their best to the individuals we support, while reaching their professional goals. Our goal is to make training engaging, informative, and FUN! The Onboarding and New Hire Experience Specialist will focus on enhancing agency employees’ skills with a high-quality training curriculum to support the agency's orientation and onboarding experience for new hires. They will also coordinate trainings for all agency staff including training scheduling, registration and managing live virtual trainings. Another primary responsibility for this role is to c ollaborate with hiring managers to ensure that new hires are signed up for additional certification trainings, and collaborate with Certifications & Compliance specialist to track attendance and certification completion. Other Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate communication with other HR functions and hiring mangers regarding new hire registration and attendance
Participating in development , design , and revision of training materials.
Facilitate training both in person and virtually.
Coordinate data collection and reporting on metrics related to implementation of onboarding practices.
Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Proficiency in organizing and delivering information in a clear, comprehensive manner and previous training experience required .
Previous experience with hiring and/or onboarding staff required .
Valid Drivers License and acceptable driving record required .
