Looking for an experienced CNA/PCA/ Companion care - FEMALE ONLY care for my very easy going 89-year-old mother, who lives in Lunenburg. Prefer someone that knows and has worked the elderly and has CNA or PCA experience, or someone that has personal experience with an elderly person. Someone that is okay with sitting for long periods of time. Someone who is positive and can carry on a conversation. Someone who lives close to Lunenburg. knows how to play cards (Rummy) and Bingo. There will be some lifting a required, so you need to be a strong person as well. Someone that will assist with dressing/undressing, getting out of bed, and assistance with toiletry, and at times, assistance with changing adult depends (only when needed). The hours are about 10-15 hours per week in the early afternoons. There are times that you could fill in and get more hours if you'd like. The hours are 1-5:00PM on Tuesday and Friday afternoons and every other Sunday. Duties include playing cards, playing Bingo, cleaning commode next to bed, picking out clothes and setting them for next day. Very light meal preparation. preparing water bottle. Change linen if needed.
