Vacancy expired!

We are looking for one outstanding person to care for three large ponies and one miniature horse. The job requires someone with a super flexible schedule. You will need to be available for a minimum of 90 minutes in the morning between 7 am and 9 am(anytime between these hours) and again in the evening between 6 pm and 8 pm, for another 90 minutes. The job at its most minimum requires cleaning three stalls and three paddocks, feeding four equines in the morning and in the evening, providing fresh clean water in the morning and in the evening, and overseeing hay and grain supply. Ideally you have some experience with large animals but for the right person we will train. However, you can not be scared of horses as this job requires close contact with them. Our ponies are gentle and have never hurt a soul. if you know how to ride and like it, the job could encompass trail riding one of the ponies after the barn chores are done. Along these same lines, if you are interested in landscaping, the job could also encompass working on our farm to mow and maintain 30 acres of field and fifty acres of forest. At its most minimum the job requires 180 minutes a day, 90 minutes in the am and 90 in the pm, but if you have the energy and the interest we would love it if you could participate in maintaining and beautifying our farmland using a tractor (we will train), a self propelled brush cutter, a weed weaker, and a trusty shovel. At its maximum the job could expand to 15 to 20 hours but you would need to prove that you are really good at what you do for us to make that kind of financial and training- time investment in you. Showing up on time, going above and beyond, having a penchant for perfectionism we are looking for these qualities. We want someone really good who will be with us long term, who we can trust with our animals and who could even participate with us in the never ending project of growing our farm. If this job sounds like it might fit you then send me an email in which you describe your experience and explain your interest. Emails that do not include a phone number and good times to reach you will not be responded to. You can also text.
