We are actively recruiting for a 2nd Shift Production Line Operator for our client; a distribution company located in Ayer, MA. The production line operator is responsible for operating machinery that is used to process and package products.
Responsibilities:
- Work with plant production personnel to develop production run schedules at the beginning of the day and throughout the day as necessary to match up orders and fulfillment.
- Prepare machine for production by inspecting equipment, perform cleaning as necessary and ensuring orders are present in internal systems and match up according to plant production runs planned for the day.
- Perform constant quality inspection on product and determine best course of action to solve single-occurrence and systemic quality issues.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing position preferred
- Attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
This is a Full-Time position. The hours are 2nd shift 3pm-11:30pm, with great opportunity for overtime. The Pay Rate is $15/hour.
