We are currently seeking a responsible individual to drive and staff our farmers' market booths in the Boston area. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for selling our farm's meat products at local markets and engaging with the public. The successful candidate will be required to help pack and prepare farm vehicles for farmers' markets, drive to the markets, set up the market display, and sell products to customers. Candidates will be required to operate our sales system and technology using a cell phone and must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
As a representative of our farm, we require that candidates be comfortable engaging with the public and be willing to talk about our farm products. They must be responsible and able to represent our farm in a professional and ethical manner. Previous sales experience is preferred, but not required.
Training will be provided to familiarize with our farm products and sales system as well as market protocol and expectations.

Successful candidates must be responsible, have strong customer service and communication skills, be willing to work outside in seasonal weather, stand on their feet for extended periods, and can lift and move 50+ lbs. Must have a cell phone.
Seasonal position - set weekly schedule. Weekdays and must be available to work one weekend day. A valid driver’s license is required.
Duties for this position include driving a farm van to and from farmers' markets in the Boston area, setting up and breaking down market displays, packing coolers with the farm's meat products, talking with customers, operating the farm's sales system via cell phone, lifting and handling meat coolers and products,
Job Type: Seasonal, part-time
Pay Rate: $18+/hour based on experience
