Job Responsibilities
Covers breaks and lunches for hourly Whey department positions
Operate the HTST, separator, evaporator and CIP system
Start up and shut down HTST, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements
React quickly and adjust / troubleshoot equipment to maintain product specifications
Complete Daily Checklists
Handle and test chemicals
Enter data into MES computer system
Hourly testing of product
Recognize and communicate potential deviant situations
Communicate clearly with the Quality Department, Cheese Production Operators and department management
Apply lockouts to equipment as required
Any additional duties as assigned
Requirements
Minimum
Able to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Action oriented and the capacity to drive for results
Must be able to read, write, and perform basic mathematical functions
Able to lift 55 lbs. from floor to mid-chest continuously(0" - 39") and climb stairs hourly, climb inclined ladders hourly, and vertival ladders daily
Must be able to support 24/7/365 operation, including weekends & holiday's
Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Must be at least 18 years of age
