Job Description and Overview:

As an Information Technology Specialist, you will be responsible for learning our Epicor P21 ERP database, testing it, training team members and help to complete the migration to the new system. After our "go live" date this spring, you will be the "Go To" point of contact for this database and helping users learn it, make changes when necessary, and fix issues as they arise. You will also be responsible for all technology systems in the organization. This will also include negotiating ISP, cell phone and other contracts after shopping for the best rates.

In addition to daily responsibilities, opportunities also exist to work on special projects in which you will get to research new technology and solve more complex problems. These responsibilities will include collecting and analyzing business requirements, followed by researching and recommending appropriate solutions. You will then perform the hands-on work required to build, configure, test, and deploy the agreed technical solutions. This position will also require providing appropriate documentation to maintain and support these solutions.

HOURS: Monday - Friday, 7:45am to 5:00pm.



WHAT WINNING LOOKS LIKE:

Assist with Epicor P21 database migration/ learn system so that you are a point of contact when issues arise

Manage VOIP phone system (RingCentral)

Assist with Digital Signage

Basic computer, laptop, printer and network maintenance & support

Assist with occasional user moves, lifting, relocation of IT assets

Point of contact for all A/V equipment, security system, ISP, technology, phone system, & Network; work with employees or contractors to resolve issues

Work independently and/or alongside other teams to achieve company goals and deadlines

Documentation of internal procedures for IT and users' processes - create effective instructions.

Assist in maintaining email and account services as needed

Troubleshoots desktop services and systems and makes recommendations for improvements to increase productivity and address workflow issues.

Provides training to users on various systems, applications and software as needed.

Responsible for maintaining equipment and software inventory. Maintains files and documentation for various software installations.

Negotiating vendor contracts - ISP, Cell phone, and others

Perform other duties as assigned



SKILLS/ REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.

Knowledge of networking required.

Experience with ERP Software systems, and Windows server operating system.

Experience with SQL databases

Preferred industry standard certifications include: A+, CCNA/CCNP, MCSA/MCSE, RHCT/RHCE or equivalent experience.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Training: Additional training resources and opportunities are available for self-starting individuals wishing to excel.



Both drug screen and background check will be conducted.
