Lead the design, development, and enhancement of chassis systems and accessories within the chassis groupCreate design documents (DAP) for chassis and engine system parts and final productsDesign and develop new suspension lift kits and lowering kits across Stellantis platformsDefine chassis components required for lift kits based on packaging studies and suspension travel analysisDesign and develop exterior/chassis accessories to meet product and business requirements (e.g., rock rails, rock rails with power steps, onboard compressors, enhanced spare tire carriers, hitch prep kits)Apply knowledge of vehicle dynamics and FMVSS requirements for system integration and complianceInterpret design needs and develop solutions that align with customer and business goalsApply APQP processes with regular team follow-ups to ensure quality and on-time launchesPrepare feasibility reviews, technical reviews, and process documents for stakeholder reviewRelease source packages based on product requirements and business case inputsDevelop DVP requirements for service parts and accessory components/systemsManage suppliers for component DVP testing and coordinate vehicle-level DVP testing within MoparApply 3D/2D tolerance analysis and GD&T in designsCollaborate with suppliers on design validation and approvalsTrack project status against targets, escalating issues as neededInitiate and track engineering changes through implementation and documentationMaintain project engineering approvals and documentationGather lessons learned from prior launches and define corrective actions for future programsEstablish best practices to strengthen processes and ensure product qualityCollaborate with Design and CAE teams to confirm durability and load requirements are metReview and approve engineering deliverables as part of phased PPAP process
