The GM New Mobility Sales Analyst supports the GM/New Mobility Customer Center Sales team and serves as the day-to-day commercial point of contact for an assigned Tier 1 account under the direction of the Sales Manager. The role coordinates new-business pursuits, commercial analyses, customer requirements, account action tracking, sales planning, and regular status reporting across internal functions. Responsibilities also include managing customer portals, quotations, purchase orders, tooling, preproduction samples, pricing records, receivables, and delivery-related follow-up. The Sales Analyst develops a strong understanding of the customer’s business and connects its needs with the AN portfolio, while escalating contractual matters, strategic decisions, major negotiations, and significant risks through the established management process.Core Responsibilities:Support new-business pursuit activities for Business Architecture and Networking with customers, including coordination of RFIs, RFQs, inputs, timelines, and internal approvals.Prepare commercial analyses and recommendations in support of offers, price changes, claims, and EBIT-improvement actions; coordinate Terms and Conditions inputs and escalate contractual or strategic decisions to the Sales Manager.Serve as the day-to-day commercial point of contact for the assigned Tier 1 account, under the direction of the Sales Manager.Maintain the account action tracker and ensure timely follow-up by Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Controlling, Logistics, and other relevant teams.Coordinate routine customer issues, document facts and business impact, and promptly elevate risks or decisions beyond the role’s authority through the established escalation process.Prepare regular account status updates covering opportunities, quotations, purchase orders, pricing, receivables, delivery topics, risks, and required management decisions.Support annual sales planning for the assigned account, create regional SPOT entries, monitor volumes and commercial assumptions, and provide regular updates to the Customer Center Head, Sales Manager, Project Management Lead, and capacity demand planner.Support in coordinating Technology Days, Senior Management Meetings, and marketing events for the business areaBe knowledgeable and skilled in GM/DMG Customer Tools and PortalsTrack open ED&D and tooling orders, identify gaps, and coordinate closure with the customer and internal stakeholders.Coordinate Tier I Tooling Purchase Orders (TPO's) activities with the Customer (submitting, reconciling, collecting payment)Reconciliation of Production Purchase Orders (PO's) in Continental SAP and the Customers’ systems for product pricing.Handle preproduction sample deliveries per customer-specific requirements, including quotation, delivery assurance, invoicing, and paymentMaintain piece price tracking in the system and align with ControllingSupport component allocation discussion by using reporting tools FACTS, Fusion File, and other data sources for summarizing and analyzing statusDevelop working knowledge of the assigned Tier 1 customer’s business, organization, products, and commercial priorities; capture requirements and connect them with the AN portfolio and cross-business-unit technology proposals.Core Capabilities:Vision (Strategic Orientation)Entrepreneurship (Customer Orientation, Profit Orientation)Execution (Decision Making, Delivery of Results)Drive (Initiative, Self Determination)Learning (Build up Business Acumen)Interaction (Clear and Open Communication, Networking)
