Job Title: Electrical Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to work on machines that create drive shafts for powertrain components. The role involves working with various types of machinery, including balancers, friction welders, snap ring presses, straighteners, CNC lathes, electromagnetic welders, and CNC rolling machines. The candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical equipment in an automotive manufacturing environment.Responsibilities
Work with 3-phase, 480V electrical systems
Perform industrial troubleshooting to maintain machinery
Handle electrical issues in a unionized facility
Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical equipment
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery
Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on CNC machines, wiring, hydraulics, and pneumatics
Troubleshoot and repair Allen-Bradley PLCs
Essential Skills
8+ years of experience with 3-phase motors, 480V
8+ years of experience with electrical installs and repairs in a manufacturing/industrial environment
8+ years of experience with blueprint/schematics reading
High school diploma or GED
Must own their own tools (no specialty tools needed)
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Journeyman Card
Experience with CNC Benders
Allen-Bradley PLC Troubleshooting
