The glass is for a variety of things including windows, skyscrapers etc.JOB DESCRIPTION:They are looking for general laborer/glass packers. They will be grabbing the new glass off of the line and then packing it for shipments.JOB DUTIES:Picking glass up off the linePicking the glass off of racksPreparing glass for shipmentsUtilizing a crane to assist in picking up the glass. They call is "zimming". It is like a big suction/vacuum to make the glass lighter to carry.Candidates must be okay working with glass, it will break near and around them occasionally. (They will be wearing proper PPE).SHIFTS:6am - 6pm (rotating 36/48 hour work weeks - this schedule requires working every other weekend) x26pm - 6am (rotating 36/48 hour work weeks - this schedule requires working every other weekend)) x28am - 5pm (5 days/week - does not guarantee Monday - Friday could be Tuesday - Saturday) x25pm - 8am (5 days/week - does not guarantee Monday - Friday could be Tuesday - Saturday) x2AVERAGE HOURS: 45 hours per week. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly and ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally.1a). Candidates need to be able to lift 30 lbs roughly 30x per shift and 75 lbs roughly 5x per shift.2). Ability to bend, twist, and pivot the duration of their shift.2a). Candidates need to be able to do the above for the entire duration of their shift.3). Comfortable wearing a Kevlar full bodysuit (looks like a beekeeper suit)3a). Candidates cannot be claustrophobic or afraid to be inside this suit.4).
