Job Title: BuyerJob DescriptionJoin our team as a Performance Parts Buyer. You will perform market tests, analyze responses, and award sourcing of parts. Support business case development for new products and review low stock parts to issue POs for maintaining optimal inventory levels. Follow up on past due POs, track shipments, and review open backorders weekly to expedite parts delivery. Update lead times, minimum order quantities, and reorder points as needed. Follow all established Purchasing Practices and Procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional team members to deliver successful products and seek opportunities for process improvements. Write professional communications to suppliers and coworkers, and present opinions and ideas in meetings with varying levels of management. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with SAP Ariba are required.Hard Skills
