About the unit5 South is a cardiac stepdown or a telemetry unit. We have 32 beds with 28 semi-private rooms and 4 private rooms. Each patient has a telemetry monitor that they are required to wear at all times while on the unit. 5 South thrives on teamwork, kindness, and respect from all team members. Qualifications
Required Associate's Degree in Nursing
Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or MSN
2 years of relevant experience nursing experience required
Participation in leadership activities (Unit, hospital or system Shared Governance meetings, Precepting, Charge nurse role, etc.,). Preferred
LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATEMI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Required within 6 months
