RN Registered Nurse Ambulatory Allergy FT Day - Dearborn

Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Allergy Full Time Day Shift - Dearborn Location 19401 Hubbard Dr., Dearborn, MI8 hour days. Clinic is open between 7:30am - 6:00pm and Saturdays twice a month. Saturdays - will rotate / scheduled approx. 1 Sat/monthPreferred Experience: Minimum 1 year RN experience in an Ambulatory/Clinic environment. Must have experience working with Epic. Allergy experience a plus. Responsibilities include: In-basket, patient messages, allergy injections, allergy skin testing, spirols, mixing allergy serums, ordering inventory etc. Patient population includes pediatric. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates with the health care team. Demonstrates clinical competence. May require a professional certification which is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard for the position, works independently and in collaboration with principle investigator. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.Bachelor's Degree preferred.Successful completion of Henry Ford Ambulatory orientation.Maintains and demonstrates current clinical knowledge in area of specialty.Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and medical group personnel.Preferred experience in the specialty. Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.Current BLS or ACLS per Henry Ford Health policy. tCertification will be required when it is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard, i.e., Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN).Additional Information
