About Us
We’re launching a new dog daycare and boarding franchise in Oakland County and are looking for a strong Operations Manager to help build, open, and run the business from day one. This role is hands-on, fast-moving, and ideal for someone who loves dogs, understands operations, and can grow with the company.
What You’ll Do
Oversee daily operations of daycare, boarding, and enrichment services
Help staffing plans, safety protocols, and workflows before opening
Hire, train, and lead the daycare/boarding team
Manage scheduling, customer communication, and facility organization
Maintain compliance with state/county regulations
Work with ownership on budgeting, forecasting, and KPIs
Support marketing, promotions, and community outreach
Ensure a safe, clean, positive environment for dogs and clients
Drive operational efficiency and customer experience
What We’re Looking For
Strong operations or management background (pet industry a plus but not required)
Team leadership experience
Comfort working in a startup environment with evolving responsibilities
Ability to set up and refine systems, processes, and standards
Excellent communication and decision-making skills
Passion for dogs and high-quality pet care
Reliable, organized, and capable of running day-to-day operations independently
