Customer Service for High-Tech Engineering & Sales

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
The Role:
This is an inbound customer service and sales position focused on supporting existing industrial clients. The primary responsibility is to respond to customer inquiries for quotes on equipment repair, rebuilds, and new units. While the role is 90% inbound, some outbound follow-up and prospecting may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls and emails from industrial customers.
Enter customer and project information into QuickBooks.
Prepare and send detailed quotes to clients.
Follow up on quotes to close sales and secure orders.
Coordinate with shop technicians to obtain technical specifications and pricing information.
Clearly communicate technical solutions and options back to the customer.
Track orders from the initial quote all the way through to completion.
Required Qualifications (What You Need)
The ideal candidate should be an organized and detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills.
Experience: 2+ years in an inside sales or customer service role.
Software Skills: Quick Books Experience is a plus.
Communication: Strong phone skills and professional email etiquette.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage and track multiple quotes and follow-ups simultaneously.
Attitude: A positive, customer-focused mindset and a willingness to learn technical terminology (training provided).
