Under minimal supervision, reviews and screens the recommended admission cases at Henry Ford Health Network emergency rooms.

Combines clinical and regulatory knowledge and skill to reduce significant financial risk and exposure due to inappropriate admissions.

Collaborates with ER physicians, physician advisors, attending physicians, social workers and third party payers relating to initial screening reviews.

Through continuous assessments, problem identification and education, facilitates the quality of health care delivery in the most cost effective manner.

Position: 36 hours per week

Shift: Afternoon Shifts Every other weekend and Holiday Rotations Benefits: Full time benefit package EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

BSN required. Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience required.

Previous utilization management or case management experience preferred.

Registered Nurse with a valid, unrestricted State of Michigan license.
