Job Title: Boiler OperatorJob DescriptionWe are looking for a Boiler Operator. While a 1st boiler license and a 1st refrigeration license are preferred, we will accept any boiler, any refrigeration, and universal HVAC license. Candidates will maintain and operate boiler systems across two plants with different types of boilers and cooling systems. This role involves various responsibilities beyond boiler operations, including equipment repair, preventive maintenance, and HVAC system management. Training on all aspects of plant operations will be provided, but a foundational knowledge is required.Hard Skills
Inspect, repair, modify and install refrigeration and HVAC equipment
Conduct preventive maintenance on heating and ventilating units
Repair or replace defective parts and controls
Operate hand and power tools, welder torch, vacuum pump, test equipment
Operate boilers at 100 psi and troubleshoot issues
Test boiler operations and conduct water quality tests
Lubricate machinery and replace parts as necessary
Maintain records of tasks performed and materials used

The plants can have a slight smell of sour milk and temperatures ranging from 70-80 degrees. The work environment is family-owned with a tight-knit team. The maintenance department includes 12 skilled tradesmen working across three shifts. All team members overlap responsibilities and work collaboratively. Uniforms are provided, but candidates must wear steel toe boots. The company culture is based on teamwork and mutual support.
