DescriptionAccountemps has partnered with a growing company to recruit a stellar Bookkeeper. If you have prior experience in A/P, A/R, General ledger, and financial reporting, then you may want to apply for this Bookkeeper opportunity. The short-term temporary Bookkeeper will work in the Detroit, Michigan area.Your responsibilities in this role
Oversee accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
Oversee and manage general ledger
Put together financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
Preside over an efficient system to track financial transactions and define policies and procedures for bookkeeping
Examine payments received and record deposits
Monitor accounts by balancing entries
Sustain collections of historical records by organizing documents
Requirements
Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
Prior experience working with collections/accounting software
Strong familiarity with non-profit fund accounting
Microsoft Excel experience
Comprehensive knowledge of Excel Formulas
BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
