Department: Social Service/ ER Behavioral Health

Schedule: FULL Time(36 hours per week) 3 - 12 hour midnight shifts per week 7pm-7:30am. Rotating weekends and holidays

Connect with your Talent Advisor for additional specifics.ResponsibilitiesConduct interviews and behavioral health assessments for potential admissions.

Provide admissions and intake services to patients and potential patients.

Respond to telephone inquiries from persons seeking mental health care or information about mental health-related services.

Admit patients to the hospital and register outpatients with appropriate physician orders or transfers to another facility.

Document calls and related admission information.

Review all paperwork accompanying patients to ensure adherence with hospital and regulatory policies.

May staff a crisis hotline.

RequirementsLicensure / Certification / Registration:

One or more of the following required:

Master Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from the Michigan Board of Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office.

Limited or fully licensed Master Social Worker credentialed from the Michigan Board of Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office.

Counselor credentialed from the Michigan Board of Counseling obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office.

Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

Behavioral Health experience preferred.
