WCRM partners with hospital clients to manage their workers’ compensation receivables from billing to final collection, including retrospective underpayment detection and recovery. In this role, you will join our operations team and work directly with workers’ compensation insurance companies to ensure our hospital clients get paid for the care they provide. Every day you will perform resolution analysis which includes reviewing and researching denials and underpayments, filing appeals, resolving payment disputes, and aspects of both internal and external reporting. To thrive in this role, you must achieve monthly goals and maintain a high level of client service. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a professional setting with a comprehensive in-house training program.Here’s what you will experience working as an Operations Associate I:· Resolve hospital bills with workers’ compensation insurance plans· Maintain timely and professional follow-up on open disputes, both over the phone and by written appeal· Understand and articulate billing, fee schedule, and contract details to interested parties to facilitate proper reimbursement· Address and respond to denials from insurance companies to ensure accurate payment of submitted bills· Closely examine contract language (and/or fee schedule information) and provide feedback to data modeling to facilitate proper pricing using our software platforms· Support algorithm research, development, and maintenance for the purpose of processing hospital data to recover revenue for clientsRequired Skills:· A bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Business, or related field or High School diploma with 2+ years of experience in revenue cycle management, billing, or healthcare finance.For this US-based position, the base pay range is $15.00 - $22.64 per hour .
