Deloitte Energy & Industrials Research Center is part of Deloitte's Energy, Resources & Industrials (ER&I) industry practice, representing the Energy & Chemicals; Industrial Products, A&D & Construction; and Power, Utilities & Renewables sectors.The ER&I Energy & Industrials Research Center develops and publishes research and analysis on external facing digital and accessible platforms to:

Provide innovative and strategic insights to support the growth of the ER&I industry, sectors, and client portfolio via in depth analytical reports, client briefings and issue summaries

Position and evolve Deloitte's brand with clients and the marketplace

We are seeking a full-time power, utilities & renewables research manager to support the research, writing and analysis of industry issues. The primary output will be quantitative analysis and research papers that address key issues in the power and utilities industry, as well as the renewable energy industry.Subject Matter Qualifications

In depth knowledge of the US power, utilities or renewables sectors is required (e.g., supply chain, metals and mining, engineering and construction)

Familiarity with key industry data sources

Facility with quantitative modeling and analytical methods is preferred

Research Qualifications

Ability to work with external partners and internal cross-sectoral teams to craft effective and concise insights and research.

Strong writing and editorial skills with an ability to translate research to client perspectives and concerns.

Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills; ability to think creatively and bring data modeling and other analysis to key industry issues

Exposure to and training in analytical methods, including: statistical methods, interpretation of statistical results; statistical software/visualization tools such as SPSS, ® STATA, R, or Tableau is a plus

Self-starter, independent thinker and resourceful

Ability to work effectively with others, many of whom may be geographically remote

Collegial and team-oriented; willing to pitch in and "wear many hats"

Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously

Required:

Undergraduate BA or BS degree

8 years plus of professional experience, ideally relevant professional experience in the power and utilities and/or renewable energy industry

Located in east or central time zones

Ability to travel 10% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and sectors you serve

Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred:

Previous position(s) in management consulting, public policy, government relations, think tanks, or academia preferred

Master's degree/ MBA preferred

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $97,600 - $179,900. The Care Manager RN leads the coordination of a multidisciplinary team to deliver a holistic, person centric care management program to a diverse health plan population with a variety of health and social needs. They serve as the single point of contact for members, caregivers, and providers using a variety of communication channels including phone calls, emails, text messages and the BCBSM online messaging platform. The Care Manager RN uses the case management process to assess, develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate care plans designed to optimize the member\'s health across the care continuum. They work in partnership with the member, providers of care and community resources to develop and implement the plan of care and achieve stated goals. Fully remote telephonic position. This position requires outbound calls to members to engage them into the program with continuous telephonic outbound calls for ongoing care plan goals. Members may also request to interact via our digital app, instead of telephonically. As a care manager you will need to use motivational interviewing skills to engage members into the free program. Currently Care Managers are calling members that do not know they have been identified for the program and we are looking at opportunities for other team members to make these outreaches in the future. Lead the coordination of a regionally aligned, multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care to meet member needs telephonic and/or digitally. The multidisciplinary team is inclusive of Medical and Behavioral Health Social Workers, Registered Dietitians, Pharmacists, Clinical Support Staff and Medical Directors. Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of the care management plan, assess adherence to care plan to ensure progress to goals and adjust and reevaluate as necessary. Accurately document interactions that support management of the member. Prepare the member and/or caregiver for discharge from a facility to home or for transfer to another healthcare facility to support continuity of care. Educate the member and/or caregiver about post-transition care and needed follow-up, summarizing what happened during an episode of care. Secure durable medical equipment and transportation services and communicate this to the member and/or caregiver and to key individuals at the receiving facility or home care agency. Adhere to professional standards as outlined by protocols, rules and guidelines meeting quality and production goals Continue professional development by completing relevant continuing education and maintaining Certified Case Manager (CCM). Licenses and Certifications RN - Registered Nurse - Multi-State-Licensure, RN - Must reside and be licensed in the same state that is part of the Nurse Compact Department Preference Must have exemplary computer skills and be able to utilize multiple systems when interacting with members/providers - Strongly Preferred QUALIFICATIONS Nursing Diploma or associate degree in nursing required.
