Small Automotive plant seeking to hire a production supervisor. Our shop is clean and well maintained. We are seeking to add an individual that fits our friendly staff and join our mission which is Co-creating independence and dignity through the power of personal and workforce development.Positions duties :Review daily requirements for the department to plan assignments for the shift. Set productivity expectations and tracks to ensure they are met.Supervise, coordinate,schedule, inspects, and approve the work of subordinates and/or client trainee'sAssist with and/or set up work stations for production operations, including raw materials, fixtures, inspections and process sheets. Performs first piece inspection as required.Monitors raw material, work in progress, and finished goodsFollows TS-16949 Quality procedures to build defect free product.Responsible for assisting Automotive Operations with Layered Process Audits ( LPSA's) and ensure all reports complete their assigned LPA as specified by TS-16949Follow quality system procedures necessary for Goodwill Industries to maintain TS-16949 and ISO-14001 Certification .Ensure all personnel are trained prior to job assignment and that established process control procedures are adhered and maintainedUse product identification and tractability systemsMake sure all machine equipment are functioning properly including regularly maintenance are scheduledAssist in design of production operations to achieve maximum productivityAssist with development of Automotive Operation budgetDemonstrates the highest standards of ethical conduct as stated in employee handbookAssist individuals who have disabilities or other work barriers in training and production task to ensure efficiency while maintaining quality product.Performs all duties to the standards established by Goodwill Industries , its customers, and funding sourcesPerform other duties as required
