Candidates must be local to be considered or relocate to Michigan prior to starting. Perform coaching, training and guidance to newly formed Agile project teams (and extended team stakeholders) who may have little to no Agile experience. Additional engagement responsibilities will be to utilize ideas out of project retrospectives to support process improvement initiatives. Top 3 Skills:
Minimum of 3 years experience using Scrum
Minimum 2 years experience as either Scrum Master or Product Owner
CSM/CSP or preferred (certified scrum master and certified scrum professional)
Required Experience:
Must have knowledge of the Standard Agile Ceremonies: Release Planning, Grooming, Pre Sprint Planning, Daily Stand Up, Post Stand Up, Sprint Design Session, Demo, Retrospective, Celebration
Must have knowledge of the Standard Agile Reporting: team performance which may include: Roadmap, Release Plan, Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, sprint goal, Task board, team norms, impediments, team calendar
Experience Conducting Agile Overview Training to all stakeholders impacted
Experience coaching/mentoring support during project specific evaluations and roadmap execution activities beginning with the initial walk through of the set up and execution of initial Sprints/iterations
Experience in provide oversight, guidance, and feedback for ongoing execution of sprints/iterations upon establishment and in alignment with high-level Agile/Scrum roadmap
Must be able to provide continuous process improvement from project retrospectives and refine elements
Experience validating criteria for project selection, identifying success metrics that should be tracked relative to each project, analyzing the in-flight, pilot project selections against criteria and success metrics
Ability to Identify Agile/Scrum transitional requirements for each project and areas within the Agile/Scrum methods (Project Roadmap) requiring enhancements
Ability to collaborate with invested project teams to refine Agile/Scrum framework (structure, processes, templates, cadence, and deliverables) version which is usable (a practical / sustainable)
Identify Agile/Scrum tools evaluation criteria for Agile/Scrum tools (including automated testing and integration)
Define Agile software development practices for implementation
Help to develop and manage the Agile Community of Excellence (Agile CoE)
Expert in team dynamics, how to be a leader and create a community
