As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Carry out monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Other projects as required
Build analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Prepare reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts
Put together monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Participate in various initiatives spanning multiple departments
Constantly improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Operate with business partners to create compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests
Arrange quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors Requirements - Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment, to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent
Demonstrated skills in interacting effectively, both verbally and in writing, with functional managers
Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Proficient in ERP systems
Highly capable of analyzing financial data and quickly creating accurate reports
Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience
Strong analytical capabilities and discernment
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are highly desired
Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines

Month end closings experience
Experience with year end closings
Demonstrated knowledge of Data reporting
Solid understanding of manufacturing
Adeptness in financial analysis
Deep understanding of general ledger
Microsoft Excel experience required
Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges
Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
