AECOM, the #1 ENR-ranked firm in Water is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team as a Vice President Division Manager in the Midwest. Reporting to the Central West Water Regional Business Line Leader, this role is pivotal in driving the strategic vision for the business while upholding our core values of "People, Clients, Protect the Business."The selected candidate will be responsible for the leadership of our water/wastewater conveyance division covering our Midwest States (Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North and South Dakota) to support the growth and delivery of large-scale municipal water and/or wastewater projects. Working closely with the lead department managers and division growth lead, you will lead the growth and delivery of the municipal project portfolio complex municipal projects, ensuring that all aspects are effectively coordinated and managed.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Serve as an external leader for AECOM and maintain a visible profile in the regionBuild and cultivate a high performing team that thrives in a face paced growth environmentSupport growth, strategy, and sale of AECOM’s Midwest Municipal Water PracticeEmbody AECOM’s Safeguard value consistently, and driving a culture that puts safety firstDrive operational performance, quality, safety, technical excellence, and business unit profitabilityWork closely with operations and other leadership as it relates to staffing, recruiting, retention, employee engagementDemonstrate relentless customer focus by developing meaningful relationships, identifying and adding value to client needs, and ensuring a client driven cultureHelp build a strong and thriving culture in the Midwest that promotes equity, diversity, inclusion, sustainability, and innovationLead negotiations of contractual and financial agreements with clients and sub-consultantsThinking strategically while driving the financial execution of the P&L for the DivisionDemonstrates mature judgment in anticipating and solving both routine and unusual operations problems, determining operational objectives and requirements, organizing programs and projects, and developing standards and guides for diverse engineering activities.Key Performance Indicators include contribution margin, sales, revenue earned, bookings, book-to-burn, backlog growth, market share, wallet share, client satisfaction, hiring and staff retention, safety, and ED&I.
