Waste Tracking Coordinator

At this facility, we collect, sort, process and ship materials that would otherwise wind up in the waste stream.  This requires meticulous record keeping for this highly regulated industry.  You’ll be joining an awesome team of friendly and dedicated professionals. In this role, you’ll provide detailed administrative support to ensure accurate records of materials moving through the facility, from inbound truck deliveries to outbound shipments:Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions): Review manifests and bills of lading from inbound deliveries and verify accuracy.Enter data into computerized tracking database.  Identify all incoming waste streams at treatment plant.Prepare documentation for regulatory complianceGenerate shipping paperwork and labels for operations teamIntegrate information with manifests, bills of lading, process forms, check-in sheets, and customer profiles.Enter all system required waste tracking information into databaseRecord customer information to ensure compliance with program objectives.Maintain computer files, logbooks and other files and records.Prepare manifest and land disposal restriction forms and maintain associated filing systems.Create and edit reports, including incoming and outgoing daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.Provide clerical support including reception duties, phone coverage, word processing, office supply inventory, computer user support and mail distribution.Promptly report any incidents, injuries or safety concerns to management. Adhere to and abide by Clean Earth safety and security policies and procedures (e.g.Cardinal Rules, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), etc.) Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by management.Responsibilities may vary based on site level and/or location.  Work Environment:  Must be able to regularly access and use general office equipment including phones, computers, copiers, etc. Must be able to work in a busy, often distracting work environment that is generally climate controlled. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds unassisted on an occasional basis. Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time. Ability and willingness to wear company-issued personal protection equipment (PPE) as needed, including, but not limited to, safety glasses, hard hat, steel-toed boots, gloves, Tyvek coveralls, and respirator.   Ability to work overtime hours as needed based on business needs.
