Job Title: Sanitation Operator

Reporting To: Operations Manager

M-F, 16-22 hours per week

Summary of the role:

The Sanitation Operator supports daily production by working with the sanitation team to ensure cleanliness and upkeep of the production areas and equipment. This role is responsible for completion of the daily checklists as outlined by the Facilities & Warehouse Manager.

Summary of Responsibilities:

· Follow all Safety, GMP, Hygiene, and Food Safety practices according to company policy and FDA regulations.

· Follow all Fresh Coast Baking Co. recipes and processing steps.

· Washing dishes that are returned from use in the production areas using a 3-compartment sink.

· Washing dishes that are returned from use in the production areas using a Ware washer machine.

· Sweeping, mopping floors in and around the dish room, dish storage areas and racks, and production areas.

· Cleaning and maintaining equipment racks, tubs, bins, shelving and Ware washer as assigned.

· Assist production with operational and/ or equipment sanitation tasks as needed.

· Other sanitation work related duties as assigned.

· Supports the Fresh Coast team by promoting a culture of cleanliness and facility presentation by keeping primary and secondary areas clean and in good repair.

· Accurately records and completes all daily tracking, operational sanitation, and Facilities paperwork.

· Manages time according to specific production timelines to complete daily tasks.

· Attend and participate in all paid mandatory team and company meetings.

· Will need availability to work any shift to support first and second shift teams.

· Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with management and team members.

· Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.

· Maintain Fresh Coast Baking Co. values and Mission every day through attitude and work ethic.

Person Specification:

· Minimum 1 year of experience in facility sanitation tasks, preferably in food manufacturing or restaurant.

· Ability to work independently based on assigned tasks, projects and unscheduled requests.

· Ability to work weekends and off shifts as requested.

· Experience working with commercial baking equipment.

· Strong time management skills.
