In-home Caregivers

We are looking for friendly, compassionate Care Professionals. If you are an experienced caregiver, CNA or just love helping others we would love to speak with you. Our mature, friendly caregivers lead with compassion, offering comprehensive home assistance and companionship. We take time to get to know our clients and caregivers – that way, we can find a perfect match. Through our exclusive pairing process, you’ll benefit from forming a real connection with your clients.

Our team includes responsible, dependable individuals who have a passion for helping others. Your caring attitude and ability to relate to the challenges posed by aging are most important. We take our time getting to know our Care Professionals through a careful interviewing process, background check, and personality evaluation.

Companionship, shopping/errands, preparing a meal, pet care, minor housekeeping, transportation, activities and more. Personal care involves assisting with bathing, toileting, mobility assistance, oral care and personal grooming.

Seniors Helping Seniors® thoughtfully pairs our employees with clients that share things in common, such as former professions, hobbies or upbringing to maximize social engagement. The relationship that forms is rewarding for everyone!

We offer:

-Flexible hours. We have clients who prefer a few hours a week of help and others who need full time care.

-Competitive starting wage of $16 per hour for companion care and $18 per hour for personal care.

Minimum requirements:

Mature individuals who consistently demonstrate patience, empathy, reliability, professionalism, a cheerful disposition,

enthusiasm, and are personable. Some Care Professionals provide basic companionship tasks, while others perform non-medical personal care services. Past experience with Dementia or Alzheimer's care is a plus.

Services we offer our clients include:

-Companionship, such as reading, games, puzzles and reminiscing

-Preparing meals

-Medication reminders

-Light housekeeping

-Accompanying clients on errands or medical appointments

-Assistance with showering/bathing and getting ready for the day (based on experience)

Qualifications:

-Willingness to work harmoniously with staff, clients, and client’s family.

-Driver's license and insured auto

-Can operate a cell phone and download company app

-Personal email account and ability to send and receive emails.

-Ability to pass a background check.

Our territory spans Genesee county, western Oakland county and all of Livingston county.
