Live-In Caregiver Position – Senior Group Home (Up to 9 Residents)
Location: West Detroit near Southfield, MI
Compensation: $130 per day + room and board & meals included
Schedule: Minimum 6-month contract obligation, must work set schedule of your choice, 5 days on 2 days off each week.
We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate live-in caregiver to join our team in a group home setting. This position involves caring for up to 9 senior residents and living on-site to provide consistent, high-quality support. Responsibilities:
Provide personal care and support to residents
Operate a Hoyer lift independently and safely
Prepare nutritious meals daily
Maintain a clean and organized living environment
Assist with bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor residents’ well-being and report any concerns
Create a respectful and positive home atmosphere
Requirements:
Prior caregiving experience required
Ability to operate a Hoyer lift solo
Strong cooking and cleaning skills
Reliable, patient, and empathetic
Able to work independently and manage household tasks
CPR/First Aid certification
