We are looking for a motivated professional to join our office as an Optometric Technician. We provide patients with the absolute best in quality eye care, and as a part of our team, you perform crucial tests necessary for patients to proceed to an exam with our Doctor. You would also perform diagnostic testing, compile comprehensive medical histories, work with contact lens patients, and assist at the front desk and optical.
Responsibilities
Provide superb customer service to every patient, whether in person, over the phone, or in emails
Operate optical diagnostic equipment, including Optos, Visual Fields, OCT
Multitask while maintaining close attention to detail
Problem solve and be able to work well in both a team environment and individually
Essential to be punctual, reliable, with excellent attendance
Requirements
High school diploma or GED certificate

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED certificate
Prior experience in an optometry environment (preferred) with medical knowledge
Skilled with computers and electronic medical records (EMR - Officemate Examwriter)
Working knowledge of optical diagnostic equipment
Effective communication skills and a passion for success
Friendly demeanor and professional appearance
