Job Title: Apartment Complex Cleaner - Independent Contractor

Penelope's House Cleaning is a reputable cleaning company providing top-notch services to apartment complexes in Livonia and Farmington Hills, Michigan. We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Apartment Complex Cleaners. As an independent contractor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize stand-up and backpack vacuums to thoroughly clean and maintain common area floors, including hallways, lobbies, and other shared spaces.
- Clean and maintain laundry facilities by ensuring washers and dryers are free from lint and debris.
- Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to designated dumpsters, ensuring proper sanitation.
- Complete cleaning tasks efficiently and to high-quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all common areas, including entryways, stairwells, and community rooms.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for commuting between locations in Livonia, Farmington Hills, Sterling Heights, Oak Park and Warren Michigan.
- Proficiency in operating stand-up and backpack vacuums.
- Physical capability to stand for long periods, navigate stairs, and lift equipment as needed.
- Prior experience in commercial or residential cleaning is preferred.
- No felony convictions or history of criminal activity.
Compensation and Contract Details:
- Starting pay: $17.00 per hour.
- Work schedule: 3 to 6 hours per day, 3 to 5 days per week.
- Opportunities for additional work based on performance.
- Position is as a 1099 independent contractor.
- Necessary supplies and equipment provided.
- Must sign a non-compete agreement.
