In the role of Field Service Technician (FST), you will perform installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance of healthcare equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Install, troubleshoot, and repair healthcare equipment for clients.
-Employee must accurately complete daily timecard, document work activities extensively through notes and pictures, complete and manage one’s own expense reports, and various other forms and documents as a regular course of business. All of which must be done daily.
-Employee will prepare documents using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
-Employee must demonstrate professional etiquette with team members, superiors & clients always.
-Employee shall always demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
-Employee must always demonstrate positive customer communication.
-Employee will be required to solve problems, escalating matters to KRW leadership as necessary.
-Employee shall care for and ensure all company and client property remains in good condition.
-Employee must always maintain environmental awareness.
-Employee must always adhere to safety measures.
-Occasional overnight travel may be required.
Job Duties:
-Communicate with Field Manager / Client Representatives
-Communicate with project point of contact to review work to be performed and to understand where the equipment
will be installed.
-Report any discrepancies in scope work and/or inventory issues to the Team Lead and/or Project Manager.
-Communicate in real time any issues that may arise during the project.
-Schedule
-Arrive to project on time as scheduled.
-Report any delays that could cause issue with meeting customers completion timelines.
-Installations
-Read and interpret installation diagrams and blueprints.
-Communicate with Team Lead and/or client representatives to determine installation locations and placement.
-Removal of existing dispensers.
-Installation of wall-mounted liquid & chemical dispensers.
-Keep work area clean at all times and remove any trash or old dispensers from the work area.
-Provide Detailed Reports and Photos for work completed
-Complete detailed sign-off for work performed (A template will be provided).
-Provide photos showing work performed.
-Document any issue that arise with photos and detailed notes. (This will also need to be reported to field manager in
real time).
-Upload photos and sign off into company system.
-Manage Clients Parts Inventory
-Prior to beginning installation, you will need to identify all inventory is onsite.
-Report any damaged or broken inventory immediately.
-You will want to record part number and provide photos.
-These units will need to be placed back in their box.
-Training
-Installation documents and videos will be provided to review prior to the beginning of any project.
ExperienceRequired:
-High School Diploma or GED
-1+ years of field service experience
-Proficient working with all standard hand tools, power drills, levels, etc.
-1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office
-1+ years of experience in the use of mechanical and hand tools and service test equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
-Technical degree in areas such as Construction, Plumbing, Electronics, Computer Repair
-Associate degree in engineering, science, or technical field
-Previous professional experience in Construction, Plumbing, Electronics, Computers
-Customer-facing experience.
