Evans Distribution Systems, one of the areas leading logistics providers is looking for experienced Sitdown Forklift Drivers for its growing Division in Romulus, MI.
Pay $12.00
Shift 8am to 430pm
Description
Unload inbound shipments safely and move product as needed
Efficiently stack and store merchandise in the appropriate area
Check or count freight for accuracy and/or damage and infestation
Prepare necessary paperwork and submit to operations manager
Frequent & repetitive lifting using both hands/arms for items weighing
approximately 50 lbs
The Lifting frequency may be in excess of 100 repetitions per shift
Frequent bending and twisting at waist/knees/neck while off-loading and loading trucks
Help maintain cleanliness of warehouse and building grounds
Handle customer products with integrity
Perform all duties in conformance with appropriate safety and security standards
Assist in warehousing operations as needed, and all other miscellaneous duties as requested by supervisor
Maintain the facilitys equipment and materials with integrity in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion
Responsible for awareness and compliance with warehouse work rules and company policies
Lift using proper safety methods provided by the company
Requirements
High school degree/GED
5 years experience driving a Sitdown Forklift is a must
Must be able to pass all pre-employment testing (includes background check and drug test)
