PDW Performance Driven Workforce is now hiring Full Time ADAS Technologists for an Automotive Tier 1 Supplier. The Technologist role supports project growth and development. This Technologist position offers an AM Day shift and is based out of Dearborn, MI. Candidates meeting the requirements for this Technologist position below are strongly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities:

Install and setup equipment for ADAS feature validation tests

Inspect and sign off on equipment installations of other technologists to verify quality prior to vehicle hand-off to the engineering team

Run ADAS validation tests with or for engineers

Post-process data for feature tests using Matlab and review for quality prior to forwarding it onto the engineering team

Troubleshoot equipment faults/failures to ensure accurate and quality data collection. Equipment sets include ABD robot, OXTS RT and RT-Range, Corrections devices, ViL system)

Utilize CAN tools to diagnose vehicle faults to get test vehicles back to the required functional state

Install invasive equipment which requires splicing and soldering on the vehicle wiring harness

Update software on vehicle modules (IPC, ABS, CCM, PSCM, IPMA, etc.)

Learn and document the process for any new equipment which comes into the lab

Produce training documentation for incoming and existing technologist/engineers

Train incoming technologists on equipment installation, setup and usage

Shift:

AM Day shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (Monday - Friday plus Overtime as needed)

Requirements:

Experience in validation of ADAS features such as lateral and pre-collision assist, trailering, parking, etc

Experience with vehicle sensing systems such as radar, camera, and ultrasonics

Experience in vehicle CAN communication network tools (CANalyzer/CANape/CAPL) and electronic module HW/SW flashing, configuration, validation and testing

Knowledge of Automotive Electrical and Electronics Systems and Architectures, troubleshoot and testing, understanding schematics and wiring

Experience with electrical wiring soldering/ repair

Experience in automotive repair/diagnostics for safe panel removal and module replacement/flashing

Preferred:

Strong problem solving skills, self-starter, motivated, organized

Good oral and written communication skills

Work well in a team environment
